Who we are
Pizza & Dog Brazil ("we", "us", "our") is a restaurant located at 16206 Spring Cypress Road, Cypress, Texas 77429, United States. We operate the website pizzadogbraziltx.com, where customers can browse our menu and place orders for pickup or local delivery. You can reach us at hotdogbrazil.texas@gmail.com or (832) 402-0536.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to take and fulfill your order:
- Contact and order details — your name, email address, telephone number, order items, special instructions, and, for delivery orders, your delivery address.
- Account information — if you create an account: your login email, a securely hashed password, your saved addresses and your order history. An account is optional; you may order as a guest.
- Payment information — we currently accept cash on pickup or delivery, so no card data is collected by this website. If online card payment is offered in the future, card details will be handled directly by a licensed payment processor; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Technical data — essential cookies that keep your session, basket and security tokens working (see "Cookies" below), and standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) kept for security and troubleshooting.
How we use your information
- To prepare, deliver and hand over your orders, and to contact you about them (for example, to confirm an order or resolve an address problem).
- To operate customer accounts and provide customer support.
- To verify that a delivery address is inside our delivery area.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, keep the website secure, and comply with tax, accounting and other legal obligations.
We send transactional messages only (order confirmations and status updates). We will not send you marketing email or text messages unless you separately opt in, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. This website currently runs no third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
Sharing
We share personal information only with service providers who need it to run the service — for example our website hosting provider, an email delivery service used to send order confirmations, a mapping/geocoding service used to locate delivery addresses, and, if enabled in the future, a payment processor. These providers may use the information only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information when required by law, court order or governmental authority, or to protect the safety and rights of our staff and customers.
Cookies
We use only cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to function: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and keeps your basket, and a security (CSRF) token that protects forms against forgery. Because these cookies are essential, they cannot be switched off, but they expire automatically and are not used to track you across other websites.
Retention
Order records are kept as long as reasonably necessary for business, tax and accounting purposes required under Texas and federal law. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete your account. Server logs are rotated routinely.
Security
The website is served exclusively over encrypted HTTPS connections. Passwords are stored using one-way cryptographic hashing. Access to order data is limited to restaurant staff who need it to fulfill orders. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information with commercially reasonable safeguards.
Your privacy rights
You may ask us, at any time, to:
- confirm whether we hold personal information about you and receive a copy of it;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete your account and eligible personal information;
- stop any non-essential communications.
Texas residents may also have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. To exercise any right, email hotdogbrazil.texas@gmail.com from the address associated with your order or account, or call (832) 402-0536. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will review it again.
Children
Our website is a general-audience service intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will be highlighted on the website.
